About Us

Canal Meteo TV is the first Spanish-language weather channel in the United States, created with the mission to inform, protect, and empower the Latino community in the face of meteorological and climate phenomena. Founded by award-winning meteorologist Albert Martínez, Canal Meteo combines over 15 years of television and radio experience with an innovative approach to digital communication.

We deliver reliable and accessible content on forecasts, hurricanes, severe storms, heat waves, floods, and climate change, tailored to the needs of Hispanic families in the U.S., the Caribbean, and Latin America. Our goal is to be a bilingual reference that offers real-time, useful information in a clear and approachable way.

In addition to digital broadcasting and social media platforms, we produce the podcast “Turbulencias Atmosféricas,” where we explore stories of resilience, science, and climate education. We also develop proprietary technological tools to showcase interactive maps, population data under alerts, and dynamic visualizations that facilitate emergency preparedness.
